The Scavenging Hoppmoth is a large, docile hoppmoth that appears in the Castaway Mode DLC of Pikmin E: Remastered. It is a fairly large creature, with attributes of both a moth and a grasshopper, colored mostly a grassy dark green, akin to moss. They wander areas nearby hives for resources such as food, and due to them only appearing in the Castaway Mode DLC, this makes them a nuisance. Upon seeing any Pikmin or leaders, they will attempt to flee. If attacked, it will merely shake Pikmin off of itself, occasionally burying them as well. Other than this, it is harmless, and refuses to engage in violence as it is not equipped to do so.
