The Starving Bulborb is a Red Bulborb with a "withered" appearance. Its eyestalks have become somewhat crumpled and its normally bright skin is more subdued. Even the white polka dots are withering away. The creature is often shivering where it stands, and it simply stands in place at first, looking around for food. When it spots its prey, it will run after its targets and will continue to pursue them no matter how far they run. The Starving Bulborb is one of those threats that just has to be dealt with. While the preferred and best way to kill it is to sneak up on it from behind while it acts as a lookout, you'll probably have to fight it with purples when it hunts you down.
