The volatile glade is the first area in the game, Pikmin: Triad war. It is the area where the Red Pikmin are found.

The area is a glade (clearing in a woodland) as the name suggests. However, parts of the area are fired themed. This is because it is close to the Kingdom of ash. It is also part rock themed since it is close to the Halls of stone.
