The Wicked Greasponge is a member of the helmuck family that produces and leaves in its wake a trail of green fire and a waxy substance. It has a green body with tentacles bearing tan, yellow, and lime stripes in that order. Its eyes are larger than those of other helmucks, and positioned on its hard shell, which has droplets of wax scattered around it, is an appendage resembling a wick that is engulfed in green flames for as long as the creature is alive. The green flames a Wicked Greasponge leaves in its wake burn significantly longer than normal flames do, normally only dying out alongside the creature that ignited them. Pikmin that catch fire from its flames will need to be whistled several times to be saved, and Pikmin that touch its wax will be burned and lose a stage of maturity.
