Marina is a playable character in Pikmin 7. She, alongside her friend Beau, is part of an archaeologist organization that collects treasure on other planets, the VHAA. She is an anthropomorphic shark Virataean with hair the same bluish-grey color as her scales and a teal scallop-shell bow in her hair. She wears a white-and-blue spacesuit.
Marina is energetic, fun, bouncy, hyperactive, enthusiastic, optimistic, and free-spirited. She rarely gets angry or upset, and generally keeps a positive outlook. Despite her cheerful attitude, Marina is shown to be quite sensitive, as she can occasionally get her feelings hurt. Her outgoing, curious, and fearless personality usually gets on Beau’s nerves, as he has to keep her from getting into trouble.
