The Powered Man-at-Legs is an arachnorb appearing in Pikmin 2: Man-at-Legs Testing Facility, in all difficulties, as the eighth boss. It greatly resembles an off-color Man-at-Legs and behaves similarly. It is impervious to any damage done to it directly; its weakness lies in the generators present on the sublevel with it. Each generator is protected by a black bramble gate, and approaching one will awaken the Powered Man-at-Legs if it wasn't already active. Destroying one generator damages the Powered Man-at-Legs and prompts it to shake itself and begin shooting, but also releases panic-inducing Mitites, which can quickly turn the tide of battle. The creature moves and attacks at a gradually faster pace the more generators are destroyed. Despite there being six generators, only four of them must be destroyed to kill the arachnorb.
