The Wailing Droneule is a small droneule appearing in Pikmin: Corporate Combat. It has a greyish body tint, and instead of a bulb, it has a structure resembling a small megaphone. When it is attacked, it will screech, attracting the attention of nearby enemies. It will awaken those sleeping, attract those wandering about, and even cause those burrowing to rise from the ground. If another Wailing Droneule hears the alert, it too will screech, potentially causing a chain reaction. It is best to stun these with Purple Pikmin, as they can not call while they are stunned.

- “This droneule is frail, but when attacked, it produces a loud noise through its hollow, oddly shaped head. This sound seems to have a compulsive effect, attracting the attention of many predators that hear it. Notably, it seems the noise itself doesn't cause the effect, but many predators have linked the noise to nearby prey. There are different kinds of calls produced by Wailing Droneules, each having a different meaning. Recent research indicates these creatures live in large colonies, with many different subspecies dwelling, each playing a different role. The Wailing Droneule alerts the colony of emergencies.”
