The Wired Phosbat is a species of aerodentia appearing in Pikmin: Spark, inside the darkest of dens. They are yellow with small, needly hairs covering their bodies. They come out of Wired Phosbat pods and are guarded by the Galvanic Phosbat, which assists them in hunting prey. While the electricity they generate merely stuns Pikmin, they become dangerous when in clusters as they can generate an electric field that stuns anything nearby, making the creatures comparable to Anode Beetles. However, since an instance of the much larger stage of their lifecycle is present in their den with them, they can quickly become an annoyance. They are scared of fire, however, and suffer damage when close to it, providing a way of warding them off. When the Galvanic Phosbat is killed, all Wired Phosbats in the den shrivel up and die simultaneously.

Notes

Abel's medical journal

If they weren't so frail, they would have been great defibrillators.

Lyn's sale review

Their heads generate a small amount of electricity, and their thin hairs can be a good substitute for phone chargers.
