The '''Giant Minedropper''' is a larger variant of the [[Minedropper]], appearing in ''[[Pikmin: Shadows of the Future]]''. It is an attack drone used by the [[Z Syndicate]]. Like the Minedropper, its body is a gray sphere with a single angry eye and a pair of insectoid mandibles. Four long, skinny legs coming out of the top of the robot make it resemble a [[Beady Long Legs]], of which it is the size of. The Giant Minedropper stomps around, laying fragmentation mines where it goes. [[Pikmin]] and [[leader]]s that get to close to the mines will cause them to trigger, detonating after a few seconds. If a mine detonates, the robot will immediately investigate the location is was in. Like its smaller replicas, the Giant Minedropper is unaffected by its own weaponry. Due to its massive size, Pikmin can be crushed under its feet. To shake Pikmin off of itself, the Giant Minedropper will lightly jump, and when it lands, any mines around it will be triggered and detonate. [[Yellow Pikmin]] are recommended to attack the creature with because of its sheer height, but [[Purple Pikmin]] can also be used once the creature lowers its body to inflict the most damage at once.

Pikmin can be crushed by its feet. After it shakes your Pikmin off, it starts jumping up and down, causing any mines currently on the ground the explode.

<dt>Most Games<dd>Throw large amounts of Pikmin, preferably Purple Pikmin, onto its head when it lowers it. Call them back when it shakes them off and run away! Yellow Pikmin will make the battle much quicker, as they can reach the boss' head even when it's not lowered.

The Giant Minedropper is a larger variant of the Minedropper, appearing in Pikmin: Shadows of the Future. It is an attack drone used by the Z Syndicate. Like the Minedropper, its body is a gray sphere with a single angry eye and a pair of insectoid mandibles. Four long, skinny legs coming out of the top of the robot make it resemble a Beady Long Legs, of which it is the size of.
