Pikmin Essence is basically a pikmin soul. When you spray it on an enemy it might sprout a stalk on its head and listen to you. You can control the enemy , even if above ground, for one day or until it dies. The pikminified enemy is immune to every element, is very strong, but cannot carry things and have less health than the normal version of the enemy. A list of the enemies you can't control is below.

- All Bosses
- Any Bulbear
- Bulbmin Leader
- Dead Enemies
- Fiery Bulblax
- Pikious X (It's a Super Boss, not a Boss)
- Every Crystal enemy
- Dieing Pikmar(In the Bad Ending)
