Stats is short for Statistics is a new gameplay feature in Pikmin: Before the Impact. Stats are the abilitys of each captain and explain how good they are in each of the 4 Main Stats which are explained below. Stats are increased when a captain Levels Up by collecting enough Experience Points by defeating enemies and bringing their corpses back to the onion/ ship pod. Each captains stats are unique and when they level up they will still be diffrent due to their own physical capabilities in the first place. The 4 Main Stats are explained below

Power

Power is how much damage a captain can do to an enemy with their punches. The higher the statistic is the more damage the captain can dealt. Robert is recommended since his Power is his highest statistic making him the most "Powerful" captain in the game due to this to balance the game his Power Up Upgrades are more expensive.

Command

Command is how loyal your Pikmin are to you and how much they respect you. The lower the statistic the more often Pikmin will lag, trip and do tasks that you didn't order them to. StefyG, the Main protaganist is the most recommended since Command is his highest statistic making him the most respected among Pikmin. To balance the game his Speed Upgrades are more expensive.

Stealth

Stealth is how easily you can walk pass a sleeping or un-attentive enemy without getting you are your Pikmin noticed. The higher the statistic is the easier it is to pass oblivous enemies. Brandon is the most recommended since Stealth is his strong suit thanks to his ninja abilities making him the "Ninja" in the game. To balance the game Brandon's Stealth Upgrades are super expensive!

Speed

Speed is how fast a captain and his Pikmin can move as a group. The higher the statistic the faster a captain the his Pikmin can move. Brandon is recommended since Speed is his strong suit thanks to his ninja abilities making him the "Ninja" in the game. To balance the game Brandon's Speed Upgrades are super expensive!

What about Nathaniel!?

Nathaniel is not reccomended because his is recomended for a Upgrade not a Stat. He is recomended for defensive purposes, because all of his immunity Upgrades are cheap making him a tank. he is also an all- around type he has no real flaws, sure his Command stat is a little low but doesn't mean he's the worst.
