The Burrowing Chrysanthemum Beetle is an enemy that appears in Pikmin: Global Breakdown. The only time they are encountered is when they emerge from the ground after being summoned by a Seeding Chrysanthemum, with several appearing at a time. They are about the size of a dwarf bulborb and move relatively slowly, but can eat Pikmin at a rapid pace. They cannot shake Pikmin off of themselves and are helpless when outnumbered. Upon defeat, the Burrowing Chrysanthemum Beetle will shudder for a few seconds before exploding with the power of a bomb-rock, which is useful for harming the Seeding Chrysanthemum that summoned it.
