Psychokinesis, also known as Psychic Energy, is a rare hazard appearing in Pikmin Evolution. While it can take on multiple forms it's most common is a pink-purple, hazy, wisp-like substance. This haziness can be most comparable to the complexion of the material used to make up the Waterwraith and other members of the Supernatura family. Psychic energy, since it lacks a physical form, isn't capable of killing Pikmin directly, rather psychic energy manipulates their physical state to hamper them. Some users of psychic energy, such as the Magic Wollywog and Psychco Progg are able to forcefully push Pikmin away from the user making it harder to reach overall. Creatures such as the PK Beetle and Opal Bulblax are able to create a psychic barrier around themselves to protect other creatures or make them user indestructible respectively. Other creatures such as the Careening Telebug and Quartz Groink are able to use their psychic powers to manipulate the environment such as tossing items at Pikmin or changing their physical state using only their mind. Finally creatures such as the Warpcake and Ghastly Progg are able to change the physical state of Pikmin themselves, allowing them the capabilities to teleport to a different location and disintegrate them from existence respectively. As it's a form of energy, Wisp Pikmin are able to absorb and neutralize the energy like they can with Electricity. However still watch out as they can still be disintegrated or harmed by objects manipulated by psychic energy, they just can't be effected directly by psychokinesis. Overall while psychic energy is not inherently fatal, the different effects they can have on Pikmin makes it a dangerous hazard to watch out for.
