The Aggregating Poofspore is an enemy introduced in Pikmin X: Deep Freeze. A tiny green ball that slowly wiggles around, a single Poofspore is almost harmless. In massive groups, however, they can be incredibly dangerous.
Small colonies of Poofspores resemble formless blobs that ooze around, extending tentacles across the ground. Larger colonies resemble giants armed with a pair of whip-like tentacle arms. These colonies are held together by a larger, red "queen" Poofspore that generates new Poofspores to replace those that have scattered away or were destroyed in combat. Any part of a Poofspore colony will poison Pikmin, so only White Pikmin can defeat this creature. When attacked, Poofspores will scatter about, trying to damage and stun Captains, but quickly dissipate into nothingness shortly after. After a bit of attacking, the queen Poofspore will be exposed to your Pikmin, and can be damaged. If all of the colony has been destroyed, the queen will roll away in an attempt to generate a new one, but at this point, it can be quickly killed by any Pikmin type.
