Ancient Bulblaxes are actually very old Emperor Bulblaxes. Their exact age is unknown, but some scientist estimate they may be up to 500 years old. Because they have a Burgeoning Spiderwort on their back, there are berries (obviously), so when they jump, the berries will fall off, however, they burst on impact (they sometimes might release a spray) briefly stunning any Pikmin/Captains. They are very old, so they have weak voices, but there is a 1 in 100 chance that it will summon Mitites from roaring. However, it can't summon 50 Mitites, it'll summon only one Mitite. That's right, only one. They also have a large tongue so it can eat up to 20 Pikmin in one lick if you're not careful. They also have a very large jump shockwave, so it can either kill or stun Captains/Pilots and Pikmin depending on where they are.

Appearance

Ancient Bulblax have rather pale skin. They have dark pale lips, possible because of age. They also have a Burgeoning Spiderwort on their backs. Ancient Bulblax also have VERY sharp claws. Also, they have a few extra weeds growing on their backs.
