The Arctic Clamclamp, is a sub-species of Clamclamp, covered in a blue aura. This species, prefers cold areas, and is normally found near frozen lakes. It's shell shines a wonderful blue, hence it's name. It's pearl is also covered in a blue aura, that will freeze all, but Cyan Pikmin. Once frozen, the Clamclamp, can easily eat the helpless Pikmin.
How to Kill
Only Cyan Pikmin, can withstand the icy aura, given off by this creature. Captains can also attack it, when a certain item is obtained.

Arctic Clamclamp | Lapis Fridgidus | Trapping Molusk Family | The Arctic Clamclamp is a relative to the Pearly Clamclamp. The main difference is it's colour change due to the arctic condition. This species had adopted a membrane which contains a chemical, which when touched releases the chemical, that will instantly freeze the creature that came into contact with it. This is proven to be an effective hunting technique, and when combined with it's blue camouflage, it is a deadly organism and one should be careful when investigating this species.

Break the shell. Extract the membrane from the shell and begin to boil the pearl like sphere. Spice the tongue with paprika, serve with the pearl and enjoy a delicious sea food meal.
