Coal Tunnels is a 2-Star Difficulty Spelunking Mission in Pikmin: Gold Rush. And the 3rd Spelunking Mission in the game overall.

Sublevel 1

The start of the sublevel splits into two paths, one an open room blocked by a Dirt Gate, the other a corridor with Dwarf Orange Bulborbs and mud that loops around to the open room. on the sides of the corridor are raised ground with wild Rock Pikmin and a Tear Stone. There are two Fiery Blowhogs in the open room, one with the Key to the next floor. In an alcove is Petrified Heart in crystal and a Nectar Egg and the exit right behind it.

The start of sublevel 2 puts you at the start of a tunnel that forks three ways, 5 Wild Rock Pikmin fight a lone Orange Dwarf Bulborb in the middle.
