The Dwarf Long Legs is a recurring enemy in Pikmin SP. You will first encounter it in the Onion Cave, where it serves as the first boss of the game. It is supposed to be a mini-boss, but it is truly very easy to defeat and you will sometimes find it in groups around other bosses.

Olimar's Notes: I believe that this is a larval stage of a Raging Long Legs. I am unsure if truly is, but it has the simple characteristic of running around in a rage just as the "adult" form would. The only difference however, is that the Dwarf Long Legs does not have flat foot bottoms for crushing pikmin. Instead, it drops its head multiple times while in a rage in an attempt to crush pikmin or captains.
Louie's Notes: Poisonous. Known to cause massive leg cramps and indigestion.
How to Kill
This is a relatively easy enemy if you are careful. You basically have to toss pikmin on the spherical "head", preferably purples. When it shakes them off, run away, because it will start rushing around and smashing its "head" into the ground, attempting to crush pikmin and captains. When it calms down, repeat the process until it is defeated. Be more careful when fighting it in The Dark Nest, because it will scare your pikmin by roaring(it doesn't have a mouth, so how?), making the risk of losing pikmin higher. (It will only roar when in a frenzy, it roars twice when it is enraged, each roar happening every 7 seconds.)

~This enemy's scientific name relates to that of the Raging Long Legs, due to the RLL having the name furiendis and this enemy having furidwarfendis.
