Eli is a new character introduced in Pikmin E and is the second playable leader in the game. He first appears in the introduction sequence, when he collides with Captain Olimar's spaceship at a high speed. He is a humanoid that resembles a feline, and his perk is jumping.

After the game is completed, a Piklopedia entry for Eli and notes on him from Olimar and Louie will be accessible, however, Olimar's contains huge plot spoilers.

“After this adventure, we have come to a conclusion. Eli is not from Hocotate, nor Koppai. He is possibly incredibly dangerous and could pose a threat to all we hold dear. How he survived crashing into my ship at high speeds is unknown, but only proves my theory. After placing a tracking device on his suit, I have discovered another planet. Whether it is Eli's home or not, I will travel there as soon as possible.”
