The Maniac Mothlot is an extremely large creature that appears in the Castaway Mode DLC of Pikmin E: Remastered. It mimics the attributes of a Vicious Hoppmoth, and serves as the boss of the Electrified Hollow. Upon entering its sublevel, it will be found chewing away at a group of wires. When approached, it will notice the Player, and quickly jump away, initiating the bossfight. It attacks by jumping down from highly elevated posts in its arena, posts much too high to be reached by Pikmin. Once one the ground, it will charge around in quick bursts, eating any Pikmin it can get its hands on. After being attacked for a short period, it will, without warning, disperse a large amount of electricity, before shaking off all of the Pikmin latched onto it. Upon death, it will let out one final burst of electricity, of which will kill any Pikmin not resistant to said hazard within its range.
