The Vicious Hoppmoth is an extremely large hoppmoth that appears in the Castaway Mode DLC of Pikmin E: Remastered. It serves as a boss in multiple caves and hives. It is a large creature, with attributes of both a moth and a grasshopper, colored mostly dirt brown with bright, neon cyan highlights. They are normally only encountered in dark areas, such as caves or during night explorations. Upon seeing any Pikmin or leaders, they will charge after them at a much faster pace than Screeching Hoppmoths, jumping around in bursts to confuse the leaders, and once they strike, will grab Pikmin with their claws and eat them. They can also accidentally crush Pikmin under themselves.
