Mareening Dirigibug

The Mareening Dirigibug is the aquatic equivalent of the Careening Dirigibug. As the pun name implies, this variant dwells in watery areas. It hovers above water and drops bomb rocks that act like depths charges (they have a wider radius and make large splash waves that knock Pikmin over.) It is also more dangerous because after its air sacs have popped, it will temporarily swim around like a fish in the water, turning occasionally to launch what looks like a torpedo out of its mouth! This will just knock over Pikmin when it speeds past, but if it hits an object like an enemy, a captain or a wall it will explode, so avoid this at all costs.

Relation to Groinks?

The fin on the back of this explosive-launching creature suggests a previously unknown relationship between dirigibugs and groinks! Portal-Kombat*Sysop*
