Radiation

Radiation is a hazard appearing exclusively in fan-made Pikmin games. Its lethality varies from game to game, being instantly fatal upon exposure in some games and being as dangerous as other hazards in others. Exposure to radiation can cause extreme damage to living creatures, and sometimes it can even induce mutations. Some, but not all, Pikmin that are resistant to radiation include Green Pikmin and Rust Pikmin. Most objects and creatures that are radioactive display the color green, and often glow in the dark.

Listed below is a sample list of sources of radiation:

•  Nuclear bomb rock – a very destructive type of bomb rock that has an incredibly large blast radius.
•  Radioactive Blowhog – a ground-based blowhog that spews radioactive gas from its trunk.
•  Radioactive Slooch – emits radiation from its body, and leaves radioactive waste in its wake.
•  Rad Sheargrub – emits radiation from its body.
