The Shield Pikmin are a species of Pikmin with a shield-like appendage connected to them, making them resistant to explosions. Shield Pikmin can be found in Primordial Fields along with Winged Pikmin. They can be good for protection against Volatile Dweevils and Giant Bomb-Rocks.
