The Thorny Waddlepus is a more dangerous and slightly bigger and stronger relative of the Waddlepus. Unlike its harmless cousin, it is covered in spikes that are only dangerous when the creature puffs up. When attacked, it will puff up, revealing its spikes and skewering Pikmin latched onto it and Pikmin nearby it. Rock Pikmin and similar Pikmin such as Sandy Pikmin are immune to this attack.
