In Pikmin: Antarctic Survival, trackonators can be created by Dr. Bruce once he is defeated as a tyrant and Awakened. Dr. Bruce can create different types of trackonators that make use of nearly every hazard, if he has the assistance of another Awakened resident that can use the element that Dr. Bruce is trying to use.

Primed trackonators also appear in the Wintry Warzone, though these cannot be collected due to being primed and dangerous. During Dr. Bruce's boss battle as a tyrant, he summons many trackonators to use against his attackers.
