Welcome to the Pikmin Fanon! You seem to have a good grasp of article formatting already, which is excellent. Happy editing! ~ Cheepy-Cheepy
By the way, the setup you've been using for pages is a special case for the Green, Orange, and Black Pikmin articles, and isn't necessary on others. Also, please do not edit the scientific names of enemies and such, no matter if they are fanon or canon. I know some are erroneous, but they should not be edited unless they're your own. ~ Cheepy-Cheepy
(I don't think I've done anything with the Black one, however I do have a Black Pikmin myself, and agree that you can edit the scientific names back to normal at will. I might publish mine later.) User:Kuutti85/sig
You haven't yet, I just mentioned it because it's one of the three Pikmin types with articles laid out like those of Orange and Green Pikmin. Sounds good! ~ Cheepy-Cheepy
(Also I've posted pics of all my other Pikmin that are currently in my vector artstyle. Care to crop and put them on pages?) User:Kuutti85/sig
(EXCUSE ME, I ACCIDENTALLY PUT THE BOMB ROCK PIKMIN ON THE BLACK PIKMIN (MISCELLANEOUS) PAGE! I REMOVED IT AND WILL SWAP IT TO THE OTHER PAGE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!)
Already done! And heh, I noticed that. ~ Cheepy-Cheepy
(So, I got a Purple Pikmin for a captcha, and I typed "Purple" correctly, but it failed somehow. Why?) User:Kuutti85/sig
I'm not sure. If I remember correctly, there's a typo, but nobody's bothered to fix it for whatever reason. ~ Cheepy-Cheepy
File updating
Just so you know, when you upload a new version of a file, chances are that it won't immediately update. ~ Cheepy-Cheepy
Request
I could do it, unless you're asking for a render. User:Cyan piklord 64/sig
Scruffy's been inactive on the Pikmin Fanon for a very long time because he's very busy with his life. I'm not sure when he'll get back to you about your request. ~ Cheepy-Cheepy
Ok guys, I probably don't need a render, but make it as close to the official designs as possible. User:Kuutti85/sig
Re:I need some help
Welcome back! There's tons of content you could make, so I can't really suggest one single thing. You could make a game, which you did, and you can make new Pikmin, characters enemies, vegetation, items, and more. If you want to create new canon-based enemy variants, Pikmin 3's and especially Hey! Pikmin's enemies could use the treatment. ~ Cheepy-Cheepy
Technically I did also make a Pikmin, that being my variant of the Lime Pikmin, and I was thinking of making a custom Bulborb character cuz why not. User:Kuutti85/sig
Well, you've made a few different Pikmin, haha. And I'd like to see your bulborb character when you make an article about it! ~ Cheepy-Cheepy
I can't really draw bulborbs, but just gonna say his body is azure with orange spots that can light up to produce sounds. These can be of different notes, and his snout is shaped more like that of a Whiptongue Bulborb's. His teeth can only be seen when he opens his mouth, and his name is Musical Bulborb. (Also I need you to make some templates for me, like an agender one, and for people who like PvZ. Okay?) User:Kuutti85/sig
You could write the article awhile. Sounds like an interesting concept! And I'll make those userboxes for you. Also, unless you want the old Lofty Sheargrub pictures to be retained to show off their old design, could you upload the updated design as a revision of the existing files? ~ Cheepy-Cheepy
Guess I'll keep them. User:Kuutti85/sig
The userboxes are done. Enjoy! ~ Cheepy-Cheepy
Thanks! User:Kuutti85/sig
Re:Yo man.
I read your message. And unfortunately, I do not have much time right now. Please forgive me. — Username (talk) 15:55, 11 March 2022 (UTC)
Re:Userboxes
While you have brought many unique ideas to the Pikmin Fanon, it's not the most anyone has ever done. Along with many other users, I myself have created many unique ideas, and still have more to come. {{Creative}} is the userbox you're looking for. Also, could you please undo the addition of your notes at the tops of the Winged and Purple Pikmin articles and instead mention your names for them on your user page rather than their pages? Thanks in advance. ~ Cheepy-Cheepy
Yeah, I could do that. User:Kuutti85/sig
Re:Need some icons for enemies
Unfortunately, I'm far too busy with, excluding offline activities, cleaning up the wiki. As much as I would like to, I am unable to create custom enemy icons for the time being. The dummy icons must suffice for now. Do know that, over time, I would love for the number of dummy icons on pages to be minimized as much as possible by creating actual icons. The same hope applies to article subjects having illustrations. ~ Cheepy-Cheepy
Re:How do I edit my game template?
Well, {{game}} is merely a placeholder game banner all fanon games lacking an official one should have. You're welcome to make your own by copying and then editing the coding of a fanon game's banner. Also, happy birthday! ~ Cheepy-Cheepy
Judging by the special code used by some ones, I think I should make a (sub)page for something. User:Kuutti85/sig
I'd say a subpage isn't necessary. ~ Cheepy-Cheepy
Re:Small question
Truly? Huh, I thought that was fixed, but apparently, it wasn't. I'll bring it up on the Discord server, thanks for letting me know. You should also join it so we can get a hold of one another more easily. Oh, and the cause behind the problem was someone using the wrong character at some point in the list of accepted file types, which conveniently was after png, jpg, and gif, the only file types anyone ever tries to upload. ~ Cheepy-Cheepy
Sorry, I lost my Discord account atleast a year ago... not that I used it that much anymore before that. Also sorry for forgetting to use my sig. User:Kuutti85/sig
Ah, I see. And that's fine, mistakes happen. Also, the issue has been fixed, sorry I didn't tell you earlier. ~ Cheepy-Cheepy
Re:Weird glitch
I see. I've had things like that happen during playthroughs of Pikmin 2 plenty of times. You ought to mention your experience on the Fortress of Festivity's talk page on Pikipedia, as they may be interested in knowing about it, even if it does sound like an issue with carrying paths. ~ Cheepy-Cheepy
Yeah I dunked myself in white paint after that happened and now the only thing I can do is scream "EGGSHELLS", don't worry I can still type though User:Kuutti85/sig
Vector graphics
Why do you use svgs for your drawings rather than pngs? ~ Cheepy-Cheepy
It's easier for me to make them, and because Scratch only has a 480x360 canvas all my pngs are heckin' low res. User:Kuutti85/sig
Ah, I see. If you're able to get it, I would strongly recommend downloading paint.net. It's a free yet powerful image editing program that I use. Your canvases can be of virtually any size, and saving files in different formats is quick and simple. ~ Cheepy-Cheepy
I do have paint.net, though I rarely use it, and I often make horrible lines in it, as vector lines are way easier to curve correctly. User:Kuutti85/sig
