The Brambled Pine is a chrysanthemum in Pikmin E: Remastered that heavily resembles a Pikmin sprout. It resides in the ground, and upon being approached or attempted to be plucked, it will quickly rise out of the ground, revealing its heavily thorned body. The only way to attack this creature is to have Spike Pikmin navigate up its body and attack its unprotected head. After a few moments, it will go back into the ground. The color of the sprout it mimics varies with the species of wild Pikmin in the cave they are encountered in; however, it sprout will not glow and typically has a darker coloration.
