The detector is a tool used to locate expeditions, and therefore opportunities to collect fruits and seedlings, although it can also be used to find Decor Pikmin. Using it will randomly reveal two to five nearby items, and up to seven Decor Pikmin, which can then be collected on expeditions. The detector can only be used once per day, although it can be recharged before then by spending coins.
