The Flipparee is a tree-like plant appearing in Pikmin: The Continents. A jungle relative of the Hantre, this tree is named after its flipper-like leaves, which catch plenty of sunlight. They are fed on by Jungle Pllillars and Jungle Plliflies. Flipparees reproduce so rapidly that they often occupy the entire jungle floor, allowing only the smallest creatures to slip between their stalks and branches to reach food and trapping larger ones sometimes to the point of starvation.
