The Ghastly Snitchbug is a scarpanid appearing in Pikmin 3 (Flish version). They resemble white Swooping Snitchbugs but with a curled tail and with antennae resembling those of Bumbling Snitchbugs. They do not bury Pikmin, but instead pluck nearby sprouts and then deliberately throw those Pikmin into hazards or at enemies. They pay no mind to what Pikmin type they throw at what danger. Any Pikmin can force a Ghastly Snitchbug to the ground, but only Black Pikmin can damage it.
