The Shockuta is a Mamuta relative appearing in Pikmin: The After Years. It is anything but calm and will attack Pikmin and leaders in a psychotic rage. Rather than pound Pikmin harmlessly into the ground, a Shockuta generates a ball of blue electrical energy which it then tosses at its enemies. The energy ball produces a surge of electricity in the area it hit, instantly killing all Pikmin in range except Yellow Pikmin. Only Yellow Pikmin can harm a Shockuta, but leaders can as well once they obtain a certain upgrade.
