The '''Dark Jetter''' is a [[Z Syndicate]] robot appearing in ''[[Pikmin: Shadows of the Future]]''. It is a purple sphere with angry eyes, a pair of pincer arms, a propulsion jet on its back, and two hover jets on its underside. It hovers in place, and when approached by [[Pikmin family|Pikmin]] or [[leader]]s, sounds a loud siren to try to scare them off. If they persist for longer than three seconds, it starts attacking them, charging forward in a straight line while dragging its pincers along the ground in an attempt to kill Pikmin. Upon hitting a wall, it will turn around and surround itself with a shield of shadow to protect itself from attacks and then attack again. To attack a Dark Jetter, simply throw Pikmin onto it while it charges. Once it generates its shield, the Pikmin attacking it will quickly disable the shield and force the creature to the ground. When it shakes Pikmin off and returns to the air, repeat the cycle until it dies.
