The Backpik is a portable Onion substitute in Pikmin Odyssey. It was designed by Russ to make widescale exploration easier. It much resembles an Onion's Pikmin 4 incarnation, but its long legs serve as straps. Each time an Onion is discovered, it will fuse into the Backpik. The Backpik is also capable of flight, which is how it absorbs pellets and slain enemies, especially larger ones.
