The Heavy Weapons Legs is a species of Arachnorb that highly resembles a Man-at-Legs, but is red in color with a large red eye, and has both a machine gun and shotgun. With the machine gun, it can shoot rapidly. With the shotgun, it can create Bomb-Rock explosions. Any Pikmin caught within the blast will die immediately. Both guns can be carried back to the Research Pod for Pokos. When a gun falls off, the Heavy Weapons Legs will utter a cry and summon Mitites while moving faster. It will occasionally produce a distorted buzzing sound, sending up more Mitites. When the Heavy Weapons Legs is dead, it hisses very loudly and releases lots of smoke, so the Pikmin become less responsive to the Captains. After twenty seconds, it will explode, killing any Pikmin caught in the large blast.
