The Anode Breadbug is a dangerous enemy that should only be fought with Yellow Pikmin. It appearance is similar to that of a normal Breadbug, but is yellow in color with white eyes. As it wanders around, the Anode Breadbug creates a trail of sparks. Anything it is carrying can only be recovered by Yellow Pikmin as that object is electrified while the Anode Breadbug is carrying it. Any other Pikmin that attempt to carry an object that the Anode Breadbug is holding will simply become paralyzed until Captain Olimar whistles at them. When the Anode Breadbug reaches half of its health, it will begin emitting electric spheres from its mouth which will float in a straight line and will eventually dissipate over time or until it hits a thick obstacle. Any Pikmin coming into contact with these electrical spheres will become paralyzed until whistled at. When the Anode Breadbug is defeated, its electrical powers malfunction, electrocuting itself. After its defeat, the Anode Breadbug's corpse can be carried by both Pikmin and Captain Olimar.
