The armored footwear is 2 Green Legs attached to a head. It is similar to the Justice Alloy and Forged Courage. It must be taken from a Gatling Groink in the Pikmin 3: The Dweevil's Revenge/Pit of 100 Trials. It makes the Pikmin partially acidproof. Any Pikmin on an acid pool could be rescued by Green Pikmin. Pikmin wearing it's health will only go down 5% every second instead of going 50% down, giving them 20 seconds to get out of the acid.
