The Chlorozoa is a species of bacterial organism appearing in Pikmin Evolution. They are enlarged single-celled organisms of a lime green coloration and containing a single yellow nucleus resembling an eye. They are very rare enemies, only appearing a few select plant themed dens or spawns from the severed body of the Flarlic Queen, they can also be compared to Pikmin 2's Ujadani as they can appear in select places on the map of the final area, in this case Titan's Fortress, every thirty days. The Chlorozoa is a strange enemy behavior wise as while a direct toss is enough to kill them instantly, swarming them is a terrible idea. This is due to the fact that the gel-like body of this creature will instantly absorb any Pikmin that goes in its way, causing the Chlorozoa to grow in size and split off into multiple copies of itself. As the Chlorozoa already appears in large swarms that can prove to be hazardous as one wrong step can instantly wipe out your squad and replace them with these tiny nuisances. However if you know the trick in that you need to toss Pikmin rather than have them swarm the Chlorozoa, they become barely a threat if you just stand back. The rewards for killing a swarm of these bacterial creatures is pretty sought after as each non-duplicate Chlorozoa will spawn 1-3 random syrups that have be fermenting in the creature's stomach. This means that if you know the tricks to where to find this creature, you are very easily able to gain a huge amout of these syrups in a short time span, turning what would be deadly microbes into a strain of beneficial bacteria beings. However be careful one using Alloy Pikmin, as while the shockwaves they create can kill a whole squad of Chlorozoas, they won't drop syrups, making finding them a waste, rather you should use Germ Pikmin as they can not only attack the creatures no problem, but their acidic taste can kill an entire swarm with just one bite of these acidic Pikmin, while also still leaving behind the syrups they drop. Overall a unique little enemy, one that harkens back to an easter egg from an older game while putting a new fresh spin on the idea that easter egg presents.
