Tropical Sheargrubs are enemies living in the sandy beaches of Creature's Quay. They are mustard colored Mandiblards with beige shells, red mouths, purple eyes, and numerous small yellow feet, making it one of the few with limbs. They are most common, but not exclusive to, the jungle island's beaches. They burrow out of the ground like other Mandiblards and eat Pikmin like a Male Sheargrub. They move faster than most, about the speed of a Swarming Sheargrub, and the armor makes them impenetrable. They must be flipped over like an Anode Beetle and are as weak as other Mandiblards upon so.

Olimar's Notes
Mandiblards are no stranger to sand and tropics, but they can easily be washed away by waves and soon perish. Beach dwelling Sheargrubs eventually evolved legs to burrow into surf zone sand and help them climb up the wet shore. The protective carpace keeps it safe from Pikmin attacks.
