Golden berries are collectibles appearing in Pikmin: Hybrids. Their juice is lethal to Vile Candypop Buds, a dangerous species of candypop bud that is important to the game's plot. The juice of seven golden berries, made into a spray, is potent enough to kill the Horrible Behemoth, a massive Vile Candypop Bud in Dark Poison Land blocking access to the final cave, Louie's Kitchen.
