Jewelbombs return in [[Pikmin X: Deep Freeze]] with some changes. It now only has two legs plus a grasping tail that it uses to roll bomb-rocks towards Pikmin like bowling balls, which are able to knock Pikmin over as they move. It can also intercept bomb-rocks placed or thrown by Pikmin to send them back at them as well. Jewelbomb bomb-rocks do not splatter sticky slime in this game and they do not regenerate while the creature is dead, only while it is attacking.
