The Large-Mouth Wollywog resembles a Yellow Wollywog with a large mouth and a long tongue. The Large-Mouth Wollywog is different from most Wollywogs in the sense that it attacks by shooting its tongue out at its prey, rather than attacking by jumping on Pikmin. Normally, Large-Mouth Wollywogs sit idly on the ground or in water until Leaders or Pikmin draw near, at which point it will suddenly turn to face them and launch its tongue at them. Anything hit by its tongue, regardless of what is at the end of it, will be knocked away forcefully. Additionally, any Pikmin hit by this attack will be deflowered. The tongue can be dodged more easily with proximity as the creature has difficulty turning. The Large-Mouth Wollywog's first weak point will be at the end of its tongue. As always, these glass weak points can only be damaged and destroyed using Bomb-rocks, Rock Pikmin, or a similar Pikmin variety. Using bomb-rocks on the Large-Mouth Wollywog also has the added benefit of briefly stunning it. Sometimes, as a Large-Mouth Wollywog is retracting its tongue, it can hit the creature's face and daze it. The tongue's weak point will remain exposed during this time, providing an opportunity to attack. Once the tongue's weak point is broken, it will be replaced by a spiked ball and its cheeks will become the new weak points. This spiked ball poses no new dangers other than it being slightly bigger than the weak point it replaced. After those two weak points are destroyed, the Large-Mouth Wollywog will become enraged and leap around the offending Pikmin squad. After a few hops, the Large-Mouth Wollywog will shoot out its tongue at the Leaders and Pikmin it is circling. During this time, the weak point on its back can be easily attacked. Once this final weak point has been destroyed, the Large-Mouth Wollywog will scream, collapse, and explode.
