The Pik-at-Legs is a Man-at-Legs that has been overtaken by parasitic Pikmin, much like with the Bulbmin. Every group of young Pik-at-Legs is led by one mature individual that will attack Pikmin and leaders on sight. They can be taken out of caves in which they were found when a certain upgrade has been collected, and they then can be stored in the ship. Unlike most other Pikmin types, a group of Pik-at-Legs can survive being left behind after sunset and can be recovered the following day.
Due to having a Man-at-Legs as its host body, the Pik-at-Legs can utilize its deadly machine gun to subdue attackers. When the mature Pik-at-Legs is defeated, every juvenile following it will scuttle around in a panic, but much like with juvenile Bulbmin, they can be whistled to calm them and bring them to a leader's side. When thrown onto an enemy, a Pik-at-Legs will bounce off of it and inflict some damage; however, when thrown beside an enemy, a Pik-at-Legs will use its machine gun to fire a few rounds at them. Defeating a mature Pik-at-Legs is best done after using an ultra-bitter spray on it to minimize Pikmin casualties.
