Rebel Mushroom Pikmin appear in Pikmin: The Dawn of Petals as a variation of Mushroom Pikmin. They will try to kill normal Mushroom Pikmin, and they are encountered as an intentional feature this time. If a Puffstool accidentally doesn't spray its spores correctly, all Pikmin in the radius will become Rebel Mushroom Pikmin. After that, the Puffstool will have to wait 5 seconds before doing anything else. Rebel Mushroom Pikmin are immune to spores, and they will attack enemies as normal. They will also have the resistance of the specific Pikmin type they were until they turn back to normal after the Puffstool dies. Since they appear in this game, the normal variation also appears as well.
