It normally disguises itself as a [[Blue Margaret]] when waiting for prey, but sometimes it can be found sleeping above ground. Like the Snoozing Chrysanthemum, the Snoring Chrysanthemum is often shrouded in a black and red smog that causes all [[Pikmin family|Pikmin]] touching it to fall into a deep slumber. Affected Pikmin can be awoken by repeatedly whistling them, but they often can not be saved due to the Snoring Chrysanthemum [[Blunt force|crushing]] any sleeping Pikmin it walks over. When at critical health, the Snoring Chrysanthemum will bellow, summoning all nearby [[Creeping Chrysanthemum]]s and related creatures to its location to fight alongside it. The only way to harm the Snoring Chrysanthemum with Pikmin is to wait for its gaseous shroud to temporarily dissipate, which it does frequently.
