The Dark Z-Bot is a Z-Bot afflicted by dark energy appearing in Pikmin: Shadows of the Future. It is dark blue and has a glowing black antenna, a bright pink eye in the center of its face, and shadowy purple scythes as arms. It wanders about, and rushes over to Pikmin and leaders it sees and begins slashing them with the shadow scythes. Pikmin it strikes are knocked away and deflowered, and sometimes killed. Dark Z-Bots are susceptible to swarming and leader punches because of their little health, although they will unleash a wave of energy to push them away while being attacked. When defeated, it explodes in a blast of purple mist.
