The Z-Bot is a standard, expendable robot in Pikmin: Shadows of the Future built by the Z Syndicate. It is made of light gray metal and has a glowing beacon atop its head that matches the color of the ocular lens in the middle of its face, which can be red, green, or blue, depending on the type of Z-Bot. It normally wanders around, and when it sees a leader or a Pikmin it will walk over to them and start attacking. Red-eyed Z-Bots will only use a weak punch, while green-eyed Z-Bots will shoot lasers from their eye in addition to punching. Blue-eyed Z-Bots can do all of the above, are stronger and faster, and command armies of Z-min. To defeat the Z-Bot, simply swarm it with a large group of Pikmin; alternatively, leaders can be used because of its small health pool.
