The Darkness Orb is a treasure in Pikmin: The After Years held by the Smoky Progg on the final sublevel of Eternal Cavern. It is a black crystal ball. Collecting the Darkness Orb allows leaders to easily pinpoint the locations of the Dark Shadow Bugs present in each cave, by displaying a small circle next to the Treasure Gauge that blinks red when any of the insects are present on a sublevel. Because of its qualities, it is used in conjunction with the Lens of Identification to hunt Dark Shadow Bugs.
