The Lens of Identification is a vital treasure in Pikmin: The After Years that is held by the Ghastly Empress Bulblax and Ghastly Emperor Bulblax on the final sublevel of Ghastly Hole. It is a magnifying glass. Collecting the Lens of Identification unlocks the Paranormal Scope, an upgrade that grants the ability to see Dark Shadow Bugs and, most importantly, allows entry into Remembrance Ravine. Because of its qualities, it is used in conjunction with the Darkness Orb to hunt Dark Shadow Bugs.
