The Fuzzy Whiskerpillar is a member of the whiskerpillar family that is covered in sharp spines. Fuzzy Whiskerpillars behave identically to Ravenous Whiskerpillars, hiding in the ground nearby spiderworts until they bloom. After this, the whiskerpillars burrow out of the ground, squirm directly towards the plants, and climb up their stem until they reach the berries, promptly feeding on them. They are generally oblivious to the presence of Pikmin and leaders until they are attacked by them.
Its small, rotund body is black in color, although its color may be difficult to discern due to its countless mint-green spines obstructing it. They have a red, featureless eye on either side of their head.
Although small and cowardly, a Fuzzy Whiskerpillar may inflict harm upon Pikmin and leaders that touch it because of their spines. Its only weaknesses are Rock Pikmin or other Pikmin types with an immunity to being skewered. Leaders inflict no damage to a Fuzzy Whiskerpillar by punching it but will be hurt by making contact with it even through punches. Fuzzy Whiskerpillars attempt to flee and return underground when attacked, and die within two to three Rock Pikmin throws. After they perish, their body can be carried by any Pikmin type.
